My early morning virtual appt was late by about 12 minutes. It was probably one of the first appts, if not the first. I was prepared with questions to ask, but felt that the appointment was very rushed. This is not the first time I've felt rushed. Also, the clinician needs to speak to the patient without using acronyms or medical terms that might not be familiar to a patient. Instead, the patient has to interrupt and ask 'what does that mean?' I am highly intelligent, but I do not know all the acronyms or medical terms related to my condition. My condition is rather new to me and I've read up on it, but I am a novice still.

The office and staff are very helpful and friendly and quick to reply to me via phone, or portal. I met with Dr Sarabu for my first visit and he had wonderful bedside manner and assured me that they would be able to help me with my issues. He was comforting and kind. Since then I have been working with Courtney and she is absolutely amazing. I have a lot of medical complex issues and she is so understanding and really listens to me and helps me reach my goals in a way that doesn???t create extra anxiety for me.

The attitude was very very very unprofessional of a Physician, it was very disturbing; however they are not above any other person and I shouldn't have allowed myself to act out of character or to be upset to the point of wanting to discontinue being a patient at this location. Your doctors do not really listen. Some of your patients are actually intelligent. When new science is mentioned in an appointment, the doctor should not disregard the question. Your doctors should further educate themselves. Staying in the medical mundane isn't really health care. You are just a drug dealer at that point.

Everyone is very kind, the office runs very efficiently and the doctor???s/PAs/nurses are knowledgeable, patient, timely and understanding. The office never causes any delay with care or prescription and is just overall a pleasure to work with. It took me 10 years to find an endocrinologist I like after leaving pediatrics and I am so thankful to have found this office.

Don't get two hours behind on your appointments. I drove 60 miles round trip to your office for my appointment only to be told that they were running 2 hours behind. I was taking to the exam room and expected to wait 2 hours to see the doctor. Does this make sense? My time is just as valuable as yours, perhaps even more so. I was given a virtual appointment the following week. Being virtual I still will have to make a trip to your office to pick up some Ozempic samples. The current price is $530 per pen. Office is clean and efficiently run. The staff are all friendly and professional. Courtney is one of the smartest young women I have ever had the pleasure of dealing with. She knows her endocrinology. Many endocrinologists don't especially care about dealing with thyroid issues, and would rather have the more serious endocrine problems. Courtney makes you feel like you are her only patient. I would definitely recommend her practice.

Facility is very clean. Courtney/PA and her assistant (Petrina ?) are both very personable and professional. They are the type of people that you don???t mind waiting for if they get behind schedule. I understand doctors have to see more patients then they used to bc of insurance lowering how much they make but it would be nice to have a doctor or PA that actually listens to patients. I originally went to see Dr. Cleland and he was great, very thoughtful talked through things. Now he's so busy so I've been having to see PA. Everytime I see the PA it's yeah everything looks good and feels rushed. So I will ask questions and point to trends and then it's like well I'm not sure there's anything wrong but I'll do whatever you tell want me to. How about your the medical professional look at trend of results, look at history and take more than 2 minutes by breezing through last notes and talk with the patient to hear their concerns. Then don't ask patient what do they want to do. Instead look at trends, hear the patient then make recommendations. When I hear comments like oh I didn't realize you're on the lowest level of medication or oh yeah I see that in your chart now. Not confidence inspiring. I may not be a doctor but know enough about human body, my health history to ask questions and understand what doctors say. Instead doctors talk down, and brush patients off. I am very concerned for those who don't have the knowledge or courage to stand up for their medical rights. I tried sending a note to Dr. Cleland and after 7 days finally got a response but from nurse and suggested having the doctor come into my appointment with the PA who blows me off. That's terrible idea and it was obvious during my appointment the doctor said something to the PA because she was even more distant and dismissive. Contrast that to time when I sent note to my Oncologist at Baptist SOuth and within 24 hours they called me to talk through my concerns and put me at ease. That's the level of service doctors should provide. I cannot control insurance practices but if the trend is to turn patient care into an assembly line where doctors/PA's don't have time to look at the health history, data and talk to patients then Baptist should consider another profession.

It is frustrating scheduling appointments to be honest. The availability of getting in when I need to, is pushed way out. Also a couple of my past appointments were scheduled incorrectly. For example, I had one scheduled that was supposed to be an telehealth. I signed in expecting for there that to be the case and waited for a notification to be sent. When it was getting to be past my appointment time, I called into the office to see what was going on and the lady informed me that the appointment was set for in office. I know specifically that when I scheduled it, that we spoke about it being telehealth and not in office. Telehealth is a lot easier for me because I live or the north side of Jax. They did however make it right, and switched it over quickly and Courtney the PA was still able to see me. The next incident was when I scheduled I specifically told the scheduler that I need a first available Friday appointment (which is when I was off work), and we confirmed that on the phone that it was a 10:45 am appointment on Friday. Then I get a notified the week of the appointment that it was scheduled for Thursday at 10:45. When I got the notification, I called the office and of course, if I didn???t keep Thursday, then it would push me way out to see the doctor for my critical labs. I had to keep the Thursday appointment, because I definitely didn???t want ti push the appointment way out again. I know the office is very busy, but when you???re told in April, that you can???t see your Endocrinologist until August, that is frustrating. And was told a waiting list for canceled appointments is not an option, due to the office before so big and busy. I get it, but if one person is assigned a waiting list for each physician or PA, it shouldn???t be that difficult to track I would think, if a designated time everyday is set aside for working on this. This would be very helpful for the patients to be able to see their physician sooner and it would also not tie up the phones as much, with patients calling in everyday, hoping to catch a cancellation spot. Other than those things, I love Dr. Crawford and her PA Courtney. They are awesome and attentive when I see them! Thankful for them and the staff!

I experienced the worst doctors visit EVER!! The medical assistant Fatina seemed very untrained and unknowledgeable . I saw Dr. Crawford???s physician assistant Courtney for the first time. She entered the exam seemingly very hostile loud tone regarding my labs not being resulted. I was trying to explain to her that quest diagnostic was on the phone trying to tell them that they were resulted and faxed. She lost her cool for a moment. I will never see her again??? I may not return to this practice.. She did not really take the time to listen to me or my concerns. I feel she showed no compassion or understanding for me the patient. Honestly I don???t feel she had much knowledge of my diagnosis she just based everything off of my last visit. She lied about my one of my very important lab results being normal.. one of the staff acknowledged how I was feeling. That PAC Courtney is very rude and I felt she is prejudice!!!

I believe, as in all of FL, doctors' offices are flooded with patients. Therefore, it is difficult for them to focus on the history of the patients who are infrequent visitors. I am ,however , grateful for the speedy scheduling.

Courtney Nicholson is fantastic. Courtney goes over all test results and explains what it means. Courtney answers all my questions patiently and never makes me feel hurried. I've recommended Courtney to several friends/family members. The office staff are welcoming and professional. I would like to give a shout out to the intake staff from the day of my appointment. I'm sorry I didn't get the name of the staff member who worked with a very upset gentleman. She could not have been more helpful, polite, and patient. The gentleman was already at the desk when I came in and I know that he was still there for at least another 15 minutes. The intake staff member never appeared ruffled and answered the same questions over and over and over.
