The good about this office is the providers and the staff. The bad is the wait time. Not talking about one occurrence, but more often than not it's an hour. This visit, I spent 90 waiting for a 10 visit to get one medication renewed. I have made a change to another office, I can't take it any more. I manage to show up before my appointment. I understand they may run a little late, but that's not reasonable.

The doctors are great but it???s so hard to get in and always running behind. Earliest I could get in was a full week out, had to be rescheduled and my 8am, 5-minute appointment was 45 minutes behind schedule. Feels like they???re just over capacity unfortunately. It???s great care tho, if you can get it. I only go to refill my dumb prescriptions, too. I use urgent care for everything else because I know better.

I have been going to this office for 25 years. Francie Melville is the best . She is responsive to all my medical needs. I have had some issues the past year and had to see a neurologist and she had taken care of most of tests before I had my appointment. I wouldn't want to go anywhere else.

The care providers are exceptional! Dr. Calhoun, PA Melville, ARNP Nunley, Nurses Tacoma, Maureen, and Amanda, and are a dynamic team. My family and I are often seen by them and I???m sure the rest of the practice is just as amazing. My family started with this practice and they???ve watched our children grow from birth to their pre-teen years. It???s like visiting family when we go for an appointment. Gigi is amazing and has managed to keep and improve patient experience with the office staff. I know this is no small feat especially with hiring challenges across all industries. They truly care for each patient, always making you feel you???re their top priority.

Nurse and PA were very nice and professional. However, had to wait from 11:30am to 12;30pm to get called back. Appointment text (associate who scheduled appt also stated this) clearly stated to be there at 11;30am for an 11;45am appointment. Not sure why. Saw multiple people get called back before me, that came in after me. Sequence issue for sure, something was off.

I???m a new patient with this office and to Baptist Health. I was told to arrive to complete documentation at 11am. However, I did the paperwork online and arrive at 1045am. My appointment time was at 1130am. At 1150am I asked the receptionist how much longer the wait would be and she called to the MA station. I was then told that there was emergency and they were backed up. I was called back at 1210pm. The MA did not apologize for my wait and appeared to be irritated. The PA that I seen did not seem concerned about my feelings as I was in pain and discomfort but was not asked my pain level. She prescribed medication, ordered test and provided exercise information.

It's not the most convenient location for me, but Mary Melville,PA-C is very friendly, compassionate and professional. She is patient, listens to you, and ready to answer any and all questions. If it's out of her area of expertise, she will refer you to someone else if necessary. Very pleased with her.

The building in unwelcoming and old but worst of all, it???s dirty. There was visible layers of dust on things and hairs on the ground like no one has ever cleaned the place. It felt like a prison. The signage was also poor. I saw one lady try to exit through a door with an exit sign only to be looked at by the lady behind the door like she was insane and point her to another door. She must have been embarrassed. As a first time visitor, the nurse was not very friendly or informative. There???s also nothing worse than be left in a room to wait for 30 minutes with one tiny window in the upper corner covered with blinds but it???s your first visit so, what to do? I nearly walked out.

The front desk clerks (check-in) are NEVER friendly or welcoming. The nurse that did my preliminary evaluation (BP, weight, questionnaire) was not in the very least friendly. Everyone blames ???we???re short staffed??? for delays but being short staffed does not excuse unfriendliness - especially in a medical office where some patients may not be feeling great or may be anxious about what???s going on with their health. The only reason I stay at this practice is location (close to my home) & Ms. Melville. But honestly, even those 2 reasons are getting harder to justify not looking for a new PCP.

After 42 years with this practice, Dr. Roger Miller was my pcp, his replacement, Dr. Wesley Taylor, completely failed to rectify his egregious mistakes regarding my healthcare. My pharmacist can attest to the fact that Taylor simply never responded. Taylor repeatedly told me to take Advil for chronic pain and compared migraines to the headache he had that morning, and spinal pain to his twisted wrist. After a downward spiral, partially due to his apathy, he fired me as a patient for expressing my distress with his carelessness.

It appears as though a lot from my personnel file has gone missing, to include appointments and procedures I had done through the military and had the paper work transferred over to Baptist??? I also sent a fax over on July 26 requesting a signature from my physician for my place of employment to clear me fit for duty and have yet to receive a fax back with the signature??? anytime I call the front office I???m on hold for approximately 30-45 minutes before getting to speak with someone??? my doctors are great, everything else is not.

extremely difficult to get someone on the phone. I've had to call for 4-5 days straight trying to schedule an appointment and after holding for 30 minutes or longer left a message as instructed. Have left 4-5 messages and no one has ever called me back from the messages. Was able to schedule an appointment finally after holding for over 30 minutes and finally got someone to pick up the phone. Don't give an option to leave a message if no one is going to ever call back. Also have left a voice mail message requesting an order for a bone density test that medicare wanted me to have. No one ever called back or gave me the order so had to get by obgyn to give me the order. Doctors are nice but support staff is not doing their job.

Calling to speak with someone is almost impossible. I was told when I left the hospital to see a specialist within 5 to 7 days. The girl who does referrals said I'm new so I don't know. I finally got to the specialist a month later. The wait time when coming for an appt. is awful, 30-45 minutes past your fiven time. Why have an appt.if it can't be honored.

I am very pleased and happy with my primary doctor and also both of the nurse practitioners are just wonderful. The staff takes their time with each patient, or at least me, and I am always feeling like I have had wonderful care when I leave.

I really like Dr. Miller - I know that he is leaving, but may still do some things part time. He said that the guy replacing him is really go so I will see how that goes. There is a chance that I could be leaving.
