    The staff is friendly. I never have a long wait to see the doctor or PA. I feel they listen to my concerns and work with me to adjust or change my medications as needed and make recommendations to help with my many medical issues.

    We are on our third rheumatologist in 9 months as the two prior left. After ten years as patients, we have no credibility and are denied labs prior to visits. No one seems to be listening to us.

    Office where I went has thermometer in office next to it and that office is closed on Friday. Therefore the temperature is not controlled on Friday which is when I go there. Extremely cold and staff has no way to regulate it. I think they were uncomfortable too. Certainly does not help people who already live with pain.

    I would prefer to see Dr Gabor. He was attentive, empathetic and I felt heard and validated. While Layla ( his PA) is cordial, I leave feeling unheard. Like a hypochondriac and slightly crazy. She's also very inconsistent. One visit she's great, the next not so much. I've gotten to where I just don't tell her new symptoms. I have enough other specialists that are like dr Gabor, to express my concerns and they will be evaluated. I stay here simply for convenience and proximity to home. I go downtown enough for my other care team drs.

    Apparently Baptist has lost most of their rheumatologists, and the wait time to get an appointment or a follow-up appointment is ridiculous, and frankly unprofessional. I had trouble with my medicine, and after a week and 3 attempts later, I was actually able to speak to a live person. Seems as if you don't get someone to answer the phone, they don't return calls when you leave messages. In the week waiting, I developed another issue due to the drugs. They finally took me off them ,but it seemed too late. I wish they would have returned my calls, and I probably wouldn't have developed the new issue. When I was prescribed the drug, I was not giving any information on the long list of possible side effects. Since then, due to the lack of available doctors, I had the see one of their PAs, whom had no clue to the new issue the medicine had caused. 30 minutes after leaving the office, I had a message on my phone to get blood work done, because the new issue I was dealing with, could be from liver damage, due to the prescribed medicine. I tried to get this issue taken care of in 2023, when I first called for the initial appointment, but due to most the rheumatologist leaving Baptist, and the lack of available appointments, it has carried over in the new year. I couldn't afford insurance in the new year, so now the $11 lab fee, now cost me $400, and I don't feel very confident I'm on the right track. So now I have 2 issues to deal with. I have very little confidence in this department. It seems Baptist is losing most of their physicians. I lost my Baptist general practitioner last year due to Baptist not supplying their office with enough doctors, as they had promised my GP. Now I'm stuck with no GP, as the office isn't accepting any new patients.

    The fact that I didn't have to wait months to get an appointment again. I was able to see PA Layla and she worked with Dr. Shah to get me a Rx for my severe fibromyalgia. Also spoke several times with staff Jeanine who was also so pleasant!!!

    Appointments are on time. No waiting. All the employees are so friendly. Lyla is so sweet and a wonderful PA. I can???t think of the nurses name but she is fantastic too. I have been going there for many years and wouldn???t go anywhere else. My only complaint is it???s hard to get in touch with them. It???s hard to talk to a person. I don???t like having to always leaving messages.

    I checked the pricing of the 2 medications recommended to me. One was just under $1,000 a month the other is not even covered by insurance. My condo maintenance fee will now take my entire pension because of rising insurance rates due to hurricane issues in Florida plus inflation. These medical suggestions are not practical for the average senior.

    I was really appreciative that a virtual appointment was offered. I live 100 miles away and knew this was just a routine follow up. No hands-on needed. So virtual worked out well this time. I have recommended this practice many times, having been a patient for over 20 years. Staff is friendly and knowledgeable, and I appreciate the online communications for non-urgent matters.

    Everything. It's spacious, clean, and pleasant. the staff is knowledgeable and helpful. The doctors are efficient and NOT HURRIED; they give me the time I need to get all my questions answered. The wait time to see the doctor is between 1 and 3 minutes (when there is a wait at all).

    Staff nor doctors will return your call took me 2 months to get someone to try to get my medicine straight now. Also this office does not take HMO without having a problem apply authorization even though Florida blues says I don't need one so that delayed my med several weeks to get someone to send over a prioritization to my primary care doctor.

    I like that all of the staff are professional, personable and friendly! Checking in is fast! Waiting time is short! Once in an exam room, the waiting is short! The doctors and P.A.s are attentive, thorough, and genuinely want what is best for your body to bring relief from all types of arthritis. I highly recommend Baptist Rheumatology!     I was referred by my primary to DR Gabor. I really did not feel comfortable with his non-personal attitude towards his patients. I started to see his physician assistant Layla McDaniel. I love for her to see me. She is very helpful with my condition and she is actually helping me do what is needed for me to feel better and try to be pain free.
