I had two appointment on two different days. Both times I had to wait pass my appointment time. The last appointment was the worst had to wait over forty minutes before the doctor came in to talk with us. Also, I had to put on a open in front gown, which was unnecessary, since I was there to only discuss treatment, which I declined.

Dr. Augsburger and his team are among the best medical teams I have been tended by. They were thorough, comprehensive, and compassionate. As this is my first experience with breast cancer I am nervous and inexperienced with all of the procedures. They helped me understand my condition and how the treatments could proceed without making me feel ignorant or foolish. It???s an art.

I started receiving my therapy in May 2019. My therapy was finished August 2019. As of now, there is no sign of cancer. Everyone has be courteous, professional and kind to me. The receptionist is new and so is the waiting room. Just a new chapter. I hope to be completely clear with no more appointments real soon.

MDAnderson is the #1 Cancer Care Hospital in the World. This is an achievement not easily Attainable, and even harder to sustain. The reason MDAnderson can sustain their #1 Status is because of its Staff. Everyone that works directly for MDAnderson is courteous, knowledgeable, informative, and extremely caring. All of which is absolutely welcoming for a patient who is fighting to stay Alive. A patient welcomes that human element and a Ray of Light called Hope and their Prayers to be answered. I would rate MDAnderson more than 10, but that was the highest rating. I will be writing personal letters of recommendation to the Hospital Administrator. This is most important to me to make it known to my Mom's team how much they are appreciated !!

Doctor and staff are amazing! Thorough and professional. Not too comfortable with the check-in setup though. Having to verbally give, or hear, all of your personal information out loud within 2 feet of the second check-in line, and clearly heard by those in the waiting room, is concerning. I heard the names, addresses, phone numbers, date of births, insurance carriers, and some voluntary discussions of medical issues. A little more privacy would be appreciated.

I was very anxious about starting radiation therapy - you know, that fear of the unknown! From my initial visit at the downtown campus for my simulation to the actual therapy at the South campus, everyone I had contact with gave me a very comfortable and relaxed feeling. Do need to give a special thanks to my radiation 'specialists', Jennifer and Nate, who were absolutely wonderful. I would definitely recommend MDA if someone needs this type of therapy!

I would like to receive more communication about why I am being asked to to be tested and receive explanation about what the tests entail. Communication through this process is so critical. The facility is well maintained and I always feel safe and comfortable there. The medical staff makes sure I understand all of the information and they take the time to listen to me and answer my questions. I never feel as though they are in a rush to see the next patient and their bedside manner is always great. I absolutely love Dr. A. and his Team at Baptist South. They are a truly a special group of individuals and have always exceeded my expectations related to my personal care and well being before treatments, during treatments and after treatments. Everyone should be as lucky as me to have such a great group of individuals following me as I continue my journey as a Cancer Survivor. The entire staff from the receptionist to the Dr were very attentive. Dr. Augsberger reviewed my Fathers history in detail and understood the complexities of the case. Dr A was empathetic, focused, and easy to comprehend even with Dads complex case. Thank you MD Anderson!

The Doctors, nurses, the welcome desk who checks you in are all polite and caring. I love all the systems in place and how everything flows smoothly. All my doctors are caring and take the time to explain things and are happy to answer your questions. If questions arise they ask me to call them. I feel confident, comforted in this process. Like a big hug and you know you are in great hands. I feel so grateful, blessed to have this team behind me. It gives me faith. Thank you

Dr. Augsberger was extremely patient and compassionate. He carefully explained all of my options without being condescending. He did not rush me into making a decision on the day of our consultation. Instead, he encouraged me to think it over, weigh all of my options, and even suggested I contact my surgeon for more input before making my final decision for possible radiation treatments.

Atmosphere was very comfortable. This was a f/u appt with Dr Augsberger. This time I felt rushed and a lot of information was given to me without the opportunity to ask questions. Just didn't feel right compared to my initial visit with him.

My nurse, Holly, was kind and empathetic. It is sometimes overwhelming when you are going through this craziness and you are met by individuals that are so kind and compassionate. Every individual involved in my care is knowledgeable, and genuine. I never expected to have cancer and I didn???t have a good idea of the treatment involved. Any question I had was immediately answered. Though I don???t like my radiation experience I believe everyone there saved my life and I am extremely grateful.
