Job Summary
Baptist Health is currently hiring for an Outpatient Coding Auditor to join our Hospital Coding team at our Baptist Metro Square Location here in the Jacksonville, FL area.
The Outpatient Coding Auditor responsibilities include:
- Conducts ongoing coding QA and compliance audits for applying correct coding guidelines to professional and facility encounters for all payors.
- Identifies areas of risk and educational opportunities.
- Participates in education of coders.
- Evaluates effectiveness of training.
- Recommends process changes.

Experience
- 3-5 Years Coding Experience
- Knowledge of State and Federal Requirements
License and Certification
- Certified Coding Specialist (CCS) Required Or
- Registered Health Information Technician (RHIT) Required Or
- Registered Health Information Administrator (RHIA) Required Or
- Certified Professional Coder (CPC) Required Or
- Certified Hematology and Oncology Coder (CHONC) Preferred
