Job Summary

Baptist Health is hiring a Vice President, Baptist Medical Center Clay. This is a full-time, in-person oppportunity.

Responsibilities include:

  • Critical collaborative leader in supporting and implementing the health system's plans for continued evolution and clinical excellence.
  • Responsible for the oversight of medical staff functions, clinical quality, patient safety, and performance improvement at their designated location.
  • Important member of the hospital leadership team and will work collaboratively with the nurse executive and the hospital President to achieve the quality and patient safety goals of the hospital and the health system.
  • Focus on developing and enhancing relationships across the continuum of clinical care.
  • He/she will develop and strengthen clinical and physician collaboration within and across the health system in the dynamically changing health care environment to ensure effective clinical integration.
  • Relationships include, but are not limited to, administrative and clinical leadership from the following areas: clinical quality and safety, infection prevention, medical staff office, risk, patient safety, privacy, and the hospital physician governance structure.

  • Over 5 years Direct Patient Care Experience Required
  • Less than 1 year Physician Leadership Experience Required

License and Certification

  • Board Certified in Primary Specialty Required
