We are looking for an experienced Neuro Interventional Radiology (IR) Technologist to support our Surgical Services Team in the Neuro Operating Room at Baptist Medical Center located in Jacksonville, Florida. This is a full-time position working a Saturday-Monday 7:00am to 7:00pm schedule (limited call requirements.) This Neuro Interventional Radiology Technologist position will be assigned to the Neuro Operating Room that has 5 OR Suites, 2 IR Suites, and was built with state-of-the-art technology including intraoperative CT and MRI. Our Neuro IR techs assist in procedures involving the diagnosis and treatment of conditions affecting the blood vessels of the brain and spine. As a Neuro IR tech at Baptist Health, some of the responsibilities include: procedural & patient preparation, imaging assistance, instrument handling, patient monitoring, post-procedural care & documentation, and equipment maintenance. 

As a Neuro Interventional Radiology Technologist, your responsibilities include:

  • Performs high quality radiographic images.
  • Functions as member of a team performing interventional procedures.
  • Works under sterile conditions, very similar to the OR.
  • Promotes good will among co-workers and other departments, and has a positive, comforting demeanor with all patients.
  • Is compliant with mandatory education and health requirements.

Licensure note: ARRT & CRT required for this position.

  • Experience working in a Hospital Setting
  • 5 Years of Interventional Radiology Tech Experience 
  • Experience with Vascular Imaging Procedures (Preferred)
  • Experience Performing Special Interventional Procedures (Preferred)

License and Certification

  • Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) Required
  • Registered Radiologic Technologist ARRT Required
  • Certified Radiologic Technologist (CRT) Required OR
  • Licensed Radiologic Technologist Required
  • Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation Certification (CPR) Required
