Andrew Lourens is a board-certified nurse practitioner and retired K9 police officer, who brings over two decades of clinical experience across primary care, internal medicine, neurology, cardiothoracic surgery and pediatrics. Known for his compassionate care, he’s a true patient advocate—committed to wellness, education and empowering individuals to take charge of their health. His areas of expertise include:

About Me
Having grown up on the coast in South Africa, I always wanted to return to the coast. My family and I have thoroughly enjoyed the Florida way of life, after moving here 2 years ago from Texas. We enjoy outdoor walks, spending time on the beach and riding our motorcycles.
My philosophy of care is to place my patients first. Listening is extremely important to guide and allow patients autonomy in their care.
Giving back to the community is extremely rewarding. While still being new to the area, I have started volunteering my time at a local church.
