From the Doctor:
As a wife and mother of three children, I very much want my family to spend our free time outdoors. To stay healthy, I play outside with my children and enjoy wakeboarding, running and cycling on the beach. I am learning to play golf and try to swing a tennis racket from time to time.
I practice evidence-based medicine while collaborating with patients to figure out what care plans work best for them. I strive to empower my patients to become engaged in their own health maintenance and to be involved in the decision-making process that impacts their care. I strongly believe in behavior modification and non-pharmacologic therapies as initial treatments whenever appropriate.
I am passionate about giving back to this amazing community through volunteering at medical and sporting events.
