About Me
My husband and I moved from Massachusetts in 1988 and stayed because of the more relaxed lifestyle we found. My personal time has revolved around caring for my three children who are in medical school, college and high school. I also enjoy staying fit and challenging myself to complete the Gate River Run each March, which I have done for many years.
My philosophy of care includes encouraging my patients to be engaged in their own health care and to take responsibility for their lifestyle choices. I provide them with the information they need to maintain their good health and make recommendations regarding appropriate preventive screenings. I educate those with active medical problems to report symptoms early to avoid crisis situations. Early action is especially necessary with the elderly.
I try to give back to the community through my church and its many ministries, especially the Mandarin Food Bank. I have also spent time supporting my children’s school activities and service projects.
