Everyone is so nice and friendly as well as professional, and they explain things very well. Dr Lori is the best at putting me at ease and helps explain everything in terms easy to understand, she is the reason I don???t fear going to the Doctor???s. I love Dr Lori Austin-McDonald! That???s why I come here. I had a virtual appointment at the end of the day and I was told at 3:30 it would be about an hour or close to 5 o???clock she would call me. Note that my scheduled appointment time was 3:45, so I was stuck waiting for 2 hours. I didn???t appreciate it and it felt like a waste of my time. I didn???t receive a call until 6, when I was notified by Dr. Lori herself that she wasn???t made aware of our appointment and she was super apologetic. No one made her aware she had any virtual appointments. When I called at 5:15 to check on the status of my appointment, the lady was very rude and said ???she???s probably just running behind??? and didn???t offer to help or anything. As a college student who travels between Jax and my college town, it???s super hard to make in person appointments do virtual works best. I think the receptionist side of the office could be a little more open and helpful.

I feel nurse Lori was more concerned with the time and other things/patients she had to see versus my mental issue at hand. Lori kept asking me what I wanted her to do about the matter. Another nurse kept knocking on the door to let her know that she had spent too much time speaking with me. I felt that Lori was not an advocate for me, but would rather I just leave. I also reviewed her notes from our visit and she failed to document multi things addressed in our visit as well as incorrectly noted things.

I had an appointment at 315. I was told to get there at 245. I arrived at 245 and checked in. I was waiting in the lobby for 45 minutes after my appointment time with no update. I understand that this place is busy. However, it is unbelievably disrespectful to not be up front with your patients about an expected time frame. It???s hard enough to get an appointment and it???s a whole different issue to waste people???s time.

I have been a patient there since Dr Sam Fern started. My entire family has. It is very unfortunate for his patients that Dr Fern retired. Dr Vilena another fabulous Doctor left. Paula Page left. Dr Dungie left. Thank goodness Lorie Austin (as she is wonderful )is still there. I do not know the other physicians But I did get the opportunity to meet Dr Starke (spelling?). I won???t be seeing him again. I would leave. The office Manager Roz is wonderful. Christina wonderful. The office staff is great. Upstairs and down. The office Manager Roz runs tight ship. Fabulous.

It was difficult to hear what the lady who at the checkout desk was saying as she was resting her face (mouth) on her fist while she spoke to me. She never smiled, or made any eye contact. She didn???t seem to want to be there or talk to anyone. It was disappointing. The 3 others individuals who met with me were very caring and engaging. So good and bad.

Even though the office is undergoing a much needed redo, it has not affected the AMAZING, friendly, professional and caring staff! Other Primary care centers are closer to me and my new home, I will happily drive 20 minutes to continue to go see Lori McDonnell and her incredibly, wonderful team! She is the BEST!

Christina at the front desk went out of her way to be helpful when I went in to inquire about making an appointment. She found a time that I could see Lori McDonald and have the needed lab work done all in one visit. It was my first visit to P.A. Lori McDonald and I was impressed with her knowledge, thoroughness, professionalism and overall kindness. The lab technician who drew blood did so with a pleasant manner and without pain. The x-ray technicians over at Baptist Hospital deserve a compliment, too. They seemed unusually well-organized.

I arrived at 10:30 am for my 11am appointment. I checked in with one front desk person, returned the portal pad to the other front desk lady. At 11:45 I asked how much longer until I was called back? One lady said not too much longer waiting on a room to open up. At this time a nurse came to ask front desk that the 11am had just arrived to which I replied that I had been there over an hour waiting. FRONT DESK NEVER CHECKED ME IN! Incompetent staff. Ridiculous!

I really like Lori my PA, she is professional and listens to my concerns. She never makes me feel bad about asking questions, even if she does not agree with me, she will advocate for me and ensure I???m taken care of. In addition to Lori, I have really enjoyed Baptist beaches hospital, it so beautifully decorated. It has a small town hospital feel which I greatly appreciate.

Professional, Timely visit and able to ask questions. PA Lori is the best. After my x-rays, she said let me show you what I'm seeing. We walked through my x-ray results and developed a plan of care together. Definitely Patient Center Care. I was also able to get x-rays right there on the spot! Wonderful!

Welcoming smiling faces at the front and it continued. Isabelle was the person who took care of my vitals, history and EKG. She was professional and delightful. My appointment was with Laurie. I love how she listened to me and made me feel comfortable. I had to wait a while when I checked out but that was because the office staff was being attentive to the person before me who was elaborating on a lot of different things that didn't seemed relevant but she was patient with them. I made my trip to the lab afterwards which I always look forward to because of the techs who I worked with in the NICU downtown so many years ago. I will be sad when they retire.
