Visit was for dizziness, lightheadedness, heart palpitations, and minor headache lasting for over 3 days. Tests were ordered, but not ordered "ASAP". March 29 was the first available. Called the office back and was told it was Friday at 4:30 so I should not expect to hear back from anyone which I found to be very unprofessional and was not very happy. My health is a major concern to me and it would have been appreciated if it was to the doctor's office staff.

This last appt I had a new physician asst. Who was very thorough and made me feel like I mattered and didn't seem to worry about how much time it took to answer questions or explain things, she wanted to find the root of the problem. Normally when I had appts the nurse practitioner was short on time and prescribed medications I could not afford, I think she was getting burnt out and you were only in there for 15 mins. And I have found entries in portal that were not true like fake appts.

I really like Dr Platt who always listens and who knows me well, deals with whatever issue I???m facing, advises me on issues without pressuring me on weight. Also like knowing that if I need to see someone they will fit me in somehow.

Office is beautiful. They seem to be sending everyone to their PAs and it???s impossible to see or talk to my Primary Care Doctor. The PA gave me very little help - kept saying someone else should handle this later. It feels very impersonal. Also, the records dept continues to make errors even though I???ve updated insurance info multiple times. The systems between the lab, front office and back office appear to not be synched. Example: The lab wrote blood test orders using insurance from one year ago. The prescription system used insurance from two years ago. The referral for a mammogram system wants me to schedule at Baptist facilities even though I said I wanted to schedule at Flagler Imaging. So it???s very frustrating.

The female that was working the checkout desk was rather rude. I needed to schedule an appointment to get some labs done. I told her I work full time and would need an early appointment (like first appointment) and she responded with "how about noon?" It was like she didn't even listen to me.

My visit was extremely informative and thorough. All the staff members were very friendly and welcoming, as this was my first visit to establish patient care. Dr. Melissa was very thorough during the exam, asking necessary questions to complete my chart. Also, she helped me secure a prescription which met my needs. I like the courtesy bloodwork to withdraw blood at the office and to send to the lab for a report. Thank you for being there and accepting me into the family health care at Baptist Primary care.

Very satisfied with the doctors and PA. They are professional and listen to you about your symptoms. I do feel the staff that answers the phones and is responsible for following up with you on issues such as a referral needs work. Have waited up to 20 mins just to talk to someone in the office and unfortunately the average wait time lately has been over 5 mins just to speak to someone. I had one referral I waited up to a month to be referred and I was the one that kept calling to get it thru. I am currently waiting on a second referral, and I am still having to be the one to call the office to find out the status.

It is very difficult to get a call to go through to the office staff. I've sat on the phone line before for over 45 min, then hung up. Took me a number of days of calling to get through to make my last appointment. I had to call in the morning the minute that they opened up to get through. I love Dr. Modansky, so I continue to put up with the calling situation.

While I enjoyed Dr. Applewhite and PA Fredrickson, I absolutely hate calling for an appointment or questions. It takes many calls to get someone and usually a hold time upwards of 20 minutes. That???s not normal for an office of that size. It???s very disappointing for patients. For example my BP was extremely high and it took me 3 business days of calling to get an appointment- during the delay I ended up in the ER. At my last appointment, a gentleman came in to talk to someone and expressed to the staff the exact same issues I???ve been experiencing with trying to communicate with the office. Not good.
