Dr Wallace is an amazing neurosurgeon. He took the time to explain my pathology in detail, and his care of me in the hospital was exemplary. I trusted his expertise, and the post-operative period has been without issues. The appointments were organized for me prior to surgery, with the professional staff of his office. His PA Mike has been so personable and has assisted Dr Wallace in my care. Thank you!

I'm a long time Lyerly customer and used Dr. Cannestra for several procedures and loved his services. Since he left the practice and after some research, I picked Dr. Wallace as his replacement.. Once I reported the issue with my left lower back / left leg issue & associated history, Dr. Wallace and his staff was very quick to react, set up a meeting, everything was explained in detail, the procedure was performed and I'm extremely happy with the results. Dr. Wallace is a very talented Physician and I look forward to further treatment with him when the time arrives. I'm extremely pleased with the outcome of my procedure. A big thank you to Dr. Wallace & Staff!

Communication w providers not good, mostly bc when calling pt. # showing different contact in mobile, not doctors office. Maybe text is better? Driving downtown was stressful n frustrating for pt n family. Hospital is in a maze!! Maybe better directions, map for e specific building n parking?? Coming to hospital is already stressful n overwhelming, on positive comments.. nurses in the unit were not professional n reassuring.. one had red fingernails n another had long hair, to her waist. In prepping, they could not find my veins n put me through a lot of pain!! I worked in hospitals myself.. not sure how much rules have changed! Another male aide, post surgery refuse to help me out of bed bc I was supposed to be self sufficient after one day of neck surgery.. could go on. Hope feedback is read n changes made. After surgery, was told movement of my neck will be forever limited!! Was not informed of this prior.. ?? Thanks

My experience was very good. The PA was very nice and took his time. Explains everything, was patient and answered questions I had. My surgeon doctor Wallace, even though we only met on the surgery day, he made me feel safe, explained what he was going to do and was very friendly. I hope they keep up their great work, I would recommend Lyerly group.

Every staff member you talk to is helpful, knowledgeable and respectful. When I had questions concerning my treatment the staff always treated me as if I was the only patient that mattered and always returned my calls in a timely matter. When I came in for my procedure I appreciated the time the entire surgical staff spent introducing themselves and explaining what their role would be during the procedure and if I had any questions.

Services from begining to end were by far 'one of the' if not 'the' best medical facility procedure. Staff were A+ during my one night stay; considerate, polite, encoraging and just all over empathetic. As for the man who was my neurosurgen Dr. Wallace hand his staff he /thye were able to correct my situation whereby I am now able to live my life without the pain I have been living with for years. I'm due for another major procedure and I have no doubts nor worries that the best from the best will be provided to me.

Dr. Wallace has a great bedside manner. He is empathetic, caring, and most importantly, he knows his stuff! He answers all your/family questions. I don???t have any complaints, just a suggestion, to have the initial appointment be face to face. The only face to face with Dr. Wallace is the day of surgery. The follow up appointments are completed by his P.A., who is excellent too! Baptist and Lyerly neurosurgery???s process is fluid!! I???ve worked in healthcare as a ER RN for >20 yrs???.I???ve never seen a hospital process work so well. It may be that I???m on the other end, the patient. But that is where the focus is on. So In saying that, myself and my family are 100% satisfied and will tell everyone we can.

You got rid of the awful pain I experienced every morning and on and off during the day by performing a spinal fusion. I am 15 days post op and am experiencing pretty severe pain which is part of the healing process. But you have prescribed meds to get me through this healing process. I am looking forward to life without pain. The staff was efficient and responsive. And caring. I hope that I will be pain free soon. I hope you will ask me the same question in a month.

Outcome was not as expected . Back pain and sciatica has not diminished significantly as expected and from separate proceedure arm pain is still not diminished and I'm directed to a hand specialist for ortho treatment . I realize there are no guarantees but for all my pain and travel to Jax I thought there would be a clear result to look at and more benefit from pain and dedication to procedure requirements .

3 years ago I had one lumbar fusion surgery. I was given 325-10 at first for pain. Then it went to 325-7.5, then 325-5 which worked very well for pain. This year I had 3 lumbar fuusions and after the surgery I received the lowest amount of pain medicine! I asked for something to relieve the pain and was turned down. I suffered for 2 days straight. I was getting released, and Mr. Seese told me if I needed anything call on Monday or Wednesday when they're in the office. I needed a refill of the 325-15 and called on Monday. Alfred took the call, I gave him the pharmacy information, etc... Nothing. Called Tuesday spoke to Ashley who seemed like she really didn't like her job and I was a bother. I called again on Wednesday, spoke to Ashley again, and she just said uh huh. Tried asking for directions for my post op appointment and how to get a wheelchair, well, no luck there. I ended up going in the wrong entrance. Finally got to my post op appointment, Mr. Seese looked it up, and said he never received one message! To make things right, don't deny patients pain medicine after surgery, and return their calls!

WE would be very happy if you would be sure that a wheel chair is available for people who need it. Every time we come there, we have to wait a long time to get a chair.

Procedure is explained fully and in terms that are easily understood. Post meeting is also explained fully with xrays. Questions are answered and considered seriously. Waiting room is pleasant and desk is considerate. All nurses on floor were considerate, friendly and extremely helpful.

The time Mike Seese took to explain details of the operation and why i have the little pain i still have much appreciated and very professional. Mike Showed me the x ray of my neck and the amazing operation performed by Dr. Bradly Wallace, still cannot believe what he did and how he did it!! On the downside, the parking at P2 parking deck was really bad and could not find a space and finally parked in a space with lines and got a $250 ticket. The walk to get to the Weaver Tower was very long and very confusing. In the past i was able to park in P1 and access to the Tower was quick and easy.

1st).Walk is waaaay to far. 2nd and foremost) PA does not listen. I spoke as to what problems I was having then he asked me exact same questions that I had just answered. Example.. I say car accident 18yrs ago, immed he asks how my injury occured. I say I had physical therapy, pain management 17 yrs ago. He immed asks have I have had pain management or physical therapy. I say my neck is so very tight and feels like splinters and I wake every 3 hrs not being abt to use my left hand for first 10min. He ask what issues do I have with my neck. I just stared at him on many occasions during our consult because I cld not believe what was happening. Was like he had memorized what to ask and had to go in order in his own brain. Unbelievable. I have zero hope in getting approved for my MRI because he did NOT listen at all. Nice but mentally blank!

Superb care. Dani Ramsey, NP, did a thorough physical examination of my problems and ordered MRI???s of my entire spine in order to evaluate if surgery would resolve them. Everyone who interacted with me was very professional, nice, and did a great job.

Dr Bradley Wallace & PA Michael Seese with Lyerly moved very quickly when I found myself needing emergency surgery back in 2013. The physicians and staff are very professional and compassionate. Everyone's responses to symptoms can differ. I like the way the doctors and PA's listen to how you are affected and feeling. No "one size fits all". They are compassionate and caring. Super invasive surgery isn't always the only answer. They work with you to do what is best for you. I trust them. I recommended them.
