According to the FDA, the monoclonal antibodies that helped with the delta variant (bamlanivimab/etesevimab and REGEN-COV) are not likely to be active against the omicron variant, the most common COVID-19 variant in the U.S. For this reason, many monoclonal antibody sites are closing. For mild/moderate symptoms of COVID-19, contact your primary care physician for recommendations for symptom management.
