Job Summary

Baptist Medical Center is looking for a compassionate and experienced Art Therapist to join our Pediatric Behavioral Health Unit at Wolfson Children's Hospital. This is a PRN Weekend shift opportunity. This Art Therapist will be meeting with groups of 10-14 patients providing Art Therapy, as well as meeting with new patients for assessments. 

As an Art Therapist, you are responsible for:

  • Providing art therapy to patients in behavioral health settings
  • Facilitating group therapy and assessments with inpatient pediatric population
  • Leisure assessments on a pediatric behavioral health inpatient unit.
  • Utilizing the expressive process through art, meditation, journaling, and other techniques to enhance the emotional, behavioral and physical well-being of children and adolescents

*Certified Art Therapist required
