Job Summary

Baptist Medical Center Clay is looking for an Assistant Nurse Manager (RN) to join our ICU unit.  This is a full-time night shift opportunity.

As an Assistant Nurse Manager on this ICU unit, you will be responsible for the following:

  • Assists the Nurse Manager of the ICU with unit/area operations.
  • Works closely with direct care personnel to ensure delivery of quality patient care.
  • Facilitates patient throughput. Takes lead role in implementing changes.
  • Supports and coaches unit personnel in development.
  • Takes a direct patient care assignment as needed.
  • Staffing and scheduling of unit personnel.

Education Required

Associate's Degree - Nursing

Education Preferred

Bachelor's Degree - Nursing

Experience

  • Medical Surgical Experience Required
  • Post- Surgical Nursing Experience Required
  • Nursing Experience

License and Certification

  • Basic Life Support (BLS) Required
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) Required
  • Licensed Registered Nurse Required
