Baptist Medical Center is seeking a Cardiac Echo Sonographer to join our Diagnostic Cardiology department at Baptist Medical Center Nassau. This is a Part-Time Days opportunity.

As a Cardiac Echo Sonographer, you will play a crucial role in providing diagnostic examinations of the heart using ultrasound techniques. Your primary responsibilities include: 

  • Perform diagnostic examinations of the heart utilizing ultrasound technology.
  • Complete trans-esophageal, stress echos, and some procedural echos
  • Collaborate with medical professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
  • Maintain and operate ultrasound equipment, ensuring its proper functionality.
  • Provide backup support to other non-invasive areas of the Cardiac Department when necessary.
  • Adhere to established protocols and procedures for cardiac imaging.

  • 1-2 years Cardiac Echo Sonography Experience

License and Certification

  • Adult Echo Credentials through either ARDMS or CCI within 18 months of hire Required
  • Adult Echocardiography (AE) (ARDMS-RDCS) Preferred Or
  • Registered Cardiac Sonographer (CCI-RCS) Preferred Or
