Clinical Exercise Physiologist, PRN, Outpatient Cardiac Rehab, Baptist Beaches

Job Summary

Baptist Health is looking to add a Clinical Exercise Physiologist in our Outpatient Cardiac Rehab Department at Baptist Beaches. This is a PRN opportunity working varied weekday shifts. 

Candidates must have their Registered Clinical Exercise Physiologist (RCEP - ACSM), Certified Exercise Specialist OR Certified Cardiac Rehab Profesional (CCRP) within 1 year of employment.

 As a Clinical Exercise Physiologist, you will be responsible for: 

• Responsible for Clinical patient treatment for Cardiac and Pulmonary Rehab patients involved in Phase I-III.
• Specific duties include new patient assessment, on-going patient assessment, development of Individual Treatment Plan (goal setting, education, exercise prescription/progression, and discharge planning).
• Provides exercise supervision, and EKG monitoring/interpretation.
• Completes appropriate documentation/charges and communicates to physician as needed.

Experience

• 3-5 Years Pulmonary Rehabilitation Experience
• 3-5 Years Clinical Cardiac Experience

License and Certification

• Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) Required
• Registered Clinical Exercise Physiologist (RCEP) - ACSM Required Or
• Certified Clinical Exercise Physiologist (CEP) - ACSM Required Or
• Certified Cardiac Rehab Professional (CCRP) Required Or
