Job Summary

**Eligible for up to $1,500 Sign on Bonus**

Baptist Medical Center is looking to add a CT Technologist to our CT Scan department at Baptist Beaches located in Jacksonville Beach, Florida. This is a PRN role that will work various shifts.

This CT Technologist will be responsible for performing CT scans on patients while insuring high quality images and patient safety. The CT Technologist will work closely with Radiologists and other healthcare professionals to provide accurate and timely diagnostic information. In addition to performing CT scans on patients this CT Technologist will prepare patients for CT scans, explain the procedure, and position patients correctly. This CT Technologist will operate the CT equipment and adjust settings accordingly to obtain high quality images. This CT Technologist will participate in call and holiday rotation. 

This CT Technologist, will be responsible for the following:

• Performing high quality (CT) procedures.
• Promoting good will amongst co-workers and other departments and has a positive, comforting demeanor with all patients.
• Maintain compliance with mandatory education and health requirements.
• Identifying, preparing, administering, and documenting medications as prescribed by a licensed practitioner in accordance with state, and federal regulations or Lawful institutional policy.

Experience

• Less than 1 year Radiologic Technologist Experience
• Customer Service Experience
• Experience working in a hospital setting

License and Certification

• Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) Required
• Registered Technologist in Computer Tomography ARRT (CT) Required
• Registered Radiologic Technologist ARRT Required
• Certified Radiologic Technologist (CRT) Required
• Licensed Radiologic Technologist Required
