Job Summary

Baptist Medical Center is looking to add a CT Intern in our CT Scan Department at Baptist Medical Center. The Intern provides assistance to the technical staff by transporting patients, screening patients, and obtaining patient records. As their training progresses, they will assume a more hands-on technical role in the department by performing diagnostic exams on patients under the direct supervision of a registered technical professional. This is a full-time opportunity. Intern will be offered a full time, Part time, or PRN position once Internship has been completed. Call and Holidays required.

The CT Intern will be responsible for:

  • Must be a graduate of an AMA (American Medical Association) approved School of Radiology, comply with ARRT (American Registry Radiologic Technologists) Standard of Ethics, complete on line program approved by the ARRT for the modality education and perform and document clinical procedures required.
  • Is compliant with mandatory education and health requirements.
  • Program interns are to register and sit for ARRT modality specific exam within the agreed upon time frame outlined by the training program. The allotted time frame begins the first day of training program.
    • *Has a supporting category prerequisite approved by the ARRT: Already has a license in Radiology, Sonogram, Nuclear, Interventional Radiology, Mammography or MRI
