Lab Operations Manager, Baptist Nassau

Job Summary

Baptist Health is seeking a dynamic and experienced Laboratory Manager to lead our laboratory operations Baptist Medical Center Nassau. This is a full-time, day shift opportunity. 

The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, in-depth knowledge of laboratory processes and a commitment to maintaing the highest standards of patient care and quality. This candidate will monitor inventory levels, equipment maintenance, and laboratory supplies to ensure uninterrupted workflow. They will also conduct performance evaluations and provide ongoing training and development opportunities for laboratory staff. This Lab Manager will collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless integration of laboratory services into patient care pathways.

As a Lab Operations Manager, your duties will include:

• Functioning as a leader at the health system level.
• Ensuring consistency in regulatory compliance, technical competence and patient safety at all five Baptist Health facilities.
• Planning, developing and executing the capital and operating budgets for the campus.
• Developing and maintaining a team of satisfied and motivated high performing staff. 

This candidate must be licensed as a Clinical Laboratory Supervisor in Florida with five years' experience and have a Bachelor of Science degree in Medical Technology or related area, plus certification by the American Society of Clinica Pathologists (ASCP) or equivalent.
