Job Summary

Baptist Health is looking for a Lead Hospital Housekeeper to join our Baptist Medical Center Jacksonville, Environmental Services team. This position is a full-time, nights opportunity from 11:00 PM - 7:30 AM, with occassional weekends and holidays. The Lead Hospital Housekeeper is responsible for maintaining a safe and healthy environment for our patients, visitors, and staff.

Lead Hospital Housekeeper General Responsibilities:

• • The Lead Hospital Housekeeper is responsible for maintaining a high quality standard of housekeeping by training, supervising, and motivating department personnel to ensure all tasks and schedules are completed in a efficient manner.
  • Performs a variety of cleaning duties as assigned. Including janitorial and custodial services
  • Sweeps, mops, dusts, and sanitizes a variety of areas including but not limited to offices, bathrooms, patient rooms, non-patient areas, procedure rooms, common waiting areas, etc.
  • Maintains all cleaning supplies in accordance to OSHA requirements.
  • Maintains friendly and professional attitude.
  • Always follows safety and security protocols.
  • May perform other duties as required.
