Job Summary

Baptist Health is looking to add a Painter to our Plant Facilities Department at Baptist Medical Center South. This is a full-time, day shift opportunity, with the hours of 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM, Monday through Friday. The Plant Facilities Department takes pride in being highly skilled, responsive and dedicated to a safe, clean environment. The Baptist Health System is expanding, creating many growth opportunities.

As an Painter you will be responsible for:

  • Preparing all surfaces throughout the Medical Center for application of paint and wall covering.
  • Applying latex and oil paint, varnish, stain and urethane.
  • Finishing using brush roller or spray applications.
  • Repairing ceramic tile, rated walls, refinishes furniture and millwork.
  • Installing wall protective devices.
