Baptist Medical Center is looking to add a Radiology Technologist to our Radiology Department at our Downtown facility in Jacksonville, FL. The primary responsibility of our Radiology Technologist is to ensure physicians and other members of a patient’s care team receive high-quality images they can use to make diagnoses or assess the success of treatments. This is a PRN, varied shifts opportunity working in all areas of the department (ED, Fluoro, OR and Diagnostics). Must work at least one (1) evening, night and weekend shift per month. There is a rotating call for weekends and night shift (11:00pm-7:00am). Holiday call of 2 shifts annually.

  

  

This Radiology Technologist will be responsible for:  

  • Performs general diagnostic, operative, and emergency room procedures at a level not requiring constant supervision.
  • Identifies, prepares, administers, and documents medications as prescribed by a licensed practitioner in accordance with state, and federal regulations or Lawful institutional policy.
