Baptist Medical Center is looking to add a Registered Nurse to our Special Procedures/Interventional Radiology team at our Baptist South location in Jacksonville, FL. This Registered Nurse position is a Part-Time days working Monday, Tuesday, and Friday from 8:00am to 4:30pm. This Registered Nurse will also participate in rotating call and holidays.

This Registered Nurse for Special Procedures/Interventional Radiology will do placements for IR lines, filters, and catheders. This Registered Nurse for Special Procedures/Interventional Radiology may also assist with monitoring patients in MRI who have implants or devices as well as assist in other radiology departments as needed.

As an Registered Nurse in our Special Procedures/Interventional Radiology team your responsibilities will include:

• Assessment, planning, implementation, evaluation  supervision of care provided by supportive personnel and coordination of care provided by ancillary services
• Including patients and significant others (SO)/families in developing an individualized plan of care
• Coordination and preparation of assigned room/case, assessment of patient care needs and the anticipation of needs of the case
• Assisting the Interventional Radiologists
• Call required

Education Required

Associate's Degree - Nursing

Education Preferred

Bachelor's Degree - Nursing

Experience

• 1-2 years Cardiac Experience Preferred
• 1-2 years Telemetry Experience
• Hospital Experience

License and Certification

• Basic Life Support (BLS) Required
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) Preferred
• Conscious Sedation Certification Preferred
• Certified Critical Care Registered Nurse (CCRN) Preferred
• Licensed Registered Nurse Required
