Registered Nurse, Pediatric Cath Lab, Full-Time, Days, Wolfson Children's Hospital

Job Summary

Baptist Health is looking to add a Registered Nurse to our Pediatric Cath Lab Department at Wolfson Children's Hospital in Jacksonville, FL. This is a full-time opportunity. This position requires call rotation nights and weekends. This lab is a combo lab and does both Interventional and EP studies.

As a Registered Nurse in our Pediatric Cath Lab your responsibilities will include:

• Coordinating with physician's office , other RNs, laboratory, dietary, x-ray, pharmacy and other areas of hospital
• Assist with cardiac and peripheral invasive procedures. 
• Will be responsible for moderate sedation.
• Cath Lab RN's may assist with TEEs, and cardioversions.
• Assessment, planning, implementation, evaluation  supervision of care provided by supportive personnel and coordination of care provided by ancillary services
• Including patients and significant others (SO)/families in developing an individualized plan of care
• Coordination and preparation of assigned room/case, assessment of patient care needs and the anticipation of needs of the case

Education Required

Associate's Degree - Nursing

Education Preferred

Bachelor's Degree - Nursing

Experience

• 2 years Critical Care Experience

License and Certification

• Basic Life Support (BLS) Required
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) Required
• Conscious Sedation Certification Preferred
• Certified Critical Care Registered Nurse (CCRN) Preferred
• Licensed Registered Nurse Required
