Baptist Medical Center is currently looking to add a Radiology (Special Procedures) Technologist to our Special Procedures Department at our Baptist Beaches location, located in Jacksonville Beach, FL. This is a PRN, various shifts opportunity that will be a hybrid position between Interventional Radiologly & Cath Lab.

As a Special Procedures Technologist you will be responsible for:

• Performs high quality radiographic images.
• Functions as member of a team performing interventional procedures.
• Works under sterile conditions, very similar to the OR.
• Promotes good will among co-workers and other departments, and has a positive, comforting demeanor with all patients.
• Is compliant with mandatory education and health requirements.
• Must participate in on-call coverage. Identifies, prepares, administers, and documents medications as prescribed by a licensed practitioner in accordance with state, and federal regulations or Lawful institutional policy.

Experience

• 3-5 Years Radiologic Technologist Experience
• Experience performing special interventional procedures
• Experience working in a hospital setting
• Customer Service Experience
• Experience with vascular imaging procedures

License and Certification

• Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) Required
• Registered Radiologic Technologist ARRT Required
• Certified Radiologic Technologist (CRT) Required
• Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation Certification (CPR) Required
• Licensed Radiologic Technologist Required
