Sr. Epic Beacon Analyst

Job Summary

Baptist Health is looking to add Sr. Epic Beacon Analyst in our Clinical Service Line Solution team.

As an Sr. Epic Beacon Analyst you will work independently or as part of a small team/work-group to plan, analyze, design, test, and implement solutions to complex problems, optimization requests and work-flows. This role will be required to take call as part of a rotating call schedule with other analysts on team. The Sr. Epic Beacon Analyst will be responsible to triage and resolve incident tickets assigned to team (if on call for the week). This role will lead small projects and optimization requests or various phases within a broader project. The Sr. Epic Beacon Analyst will review and complete any required build and testing for assigned Nova Note tickets during quarterly Epic upgrades and collaborate with Epic and other application teams by responding to Epic Sherlock tickets when applicable

Sr. Epic Beacon Analyst Responsibilities:

• Plans, analyzes, designs, implements, tests and maintains Clinical/EHR software applications. Interfaces with user departments to anticipate and resolve problems, develops and modifies procedures to solve data processing problems and prepares detailed specifications from which programs are written.
• Coordinates implementation, analysis and testing, maintenance and upgrades, application design, and debugging of complex work-flows with multiple modules.
• Utilize deep understanding of the technical components of all modules to maintain system integrity.
• Requires in-depth conceptual and practical knowledge in own job discipline and basic knowledge of related disciplines. Solves complex technical problems in own discipline. Works independently with minimal guidance.
• May lead small projects with limited scope/risks or work-streams within a broader project.
• May also have accountability for on-going processes, programs or activities. Acts as a resource for colleagues with less experience
