Shreya Ghetiya, MD, FACC, is a fellowship-trained cardiologist board certified in echocardiography, nuclear cardiology and internal medicine. Dr. Ghetiya is compassionate, caring and well-informed with the most recent advances in clinical cardiology. She strives to give the best evidence-based care to her patients. About Me

My husband and I moved to Jacksonville for our fellowship training and since then we are in love with the city, its people and the beaches. I enjoy spending time with our son, painting, sketching and cooking authentic traditional cuisines.

As a cardiologist, I firmly believe in preventative medicine. I encourage all my patients to make small, practical changes in their lifestyles which goes a long way to a healthy heart. I treat my patients as if I am treating my family. One of my teachers always said, “If you listen to your patients, half of your job is done.” This helps me individualize a treatment plan that works the best with my patients while keeping them in charge of their health. It’s my duty to provide the most updated treatment options to all my patients.

I grew up watching my parents putting their patients’ needs first. They have nurtured that passion in me to give my best while helping my patients in their most difficult moments.
