Rochelle took me to my room and helped me set up my personal items. Nurse Marie asked questions about my health. Started my IV and Living Will. She explained what would happen after the heart ablation such as lay flat for three hours since there will be two incision sites. Dr. McKillop is so calm and factual. He visited at 7:15 am before my 7:30 procedure. He explained that he will freeze the top four beings. He also told my dad which stitches he would use on the left (10/7) and the right (16/18). This would be a 21/2-3 hour procedure. Sopkovich was the anesthesiologist who came in at 7:20 am. Crystal was my night nurse. She took the stitches out at 4:00 am in the morning. Sarah was the discharge nurse.

The facilities are modern and set up with automation for entry doors. The parking access is easy. The complex is a little confusing at first as there are multiple buildings. The medics and support staff are very professional and also friendly. The specialist we saw was knowledgeable and spent time with us reviewing our situation and options. A solid medical interaction.

Everything was Great!! From check-in to discharge. Although, it appears that once it was known that I am in the medical field, the service got better (if that makes sense). Very good Also won???t to say many Thanks to Angela Wells RN. My pacemaker was scheduled to be put in on my left side and at the last minute she noticed that I was left handed and made sure that the doctors were notified so that I was able to recoup and have less issues with it. I suggest that this question (left/right handed) be added to the questionnaire.

My experience at the hospital was made better because of the nurses that took care of me. From the nurses to the operating staff, it was such a good experience from something that was so scary to me. I was told it was a simple procedure they had to put a PICC line in my arm and I was intubated which is life support for procedure took 4 hours what is simple about that I even bit my lip during the procedure at some point I don't know how I was unconscious or somebody punched me in the face one of the two and it was 26 hours with no food and then when they brought me food it was a TV dinner a nasty one at that
