About Me
I was born and raised outside of Orlando, Florida. After completing my postgraduate training in Michigan, I was eager to return to the Sunshine State and replace my snow shovel with a beach umbrella. My wife and I enjoy exploring the wonderful food scene that Jacksonville provides, as well as regularly playing golf with friends and family in the area. If the weather calls for indoor living, then I very much enjoy reading a variety of books and articles as well as cooking new recipes and foods with my wife.
For me, becoming a physician has been a dream manifested into reality. It allows me to connect with a wide variety of people and help them during a time in their lives that can be difficult. It provides me an opportunity to make a positive impact in the lives of my patients as well as the caregivers who support them outside of the clinic. I strongly believe in the principle of patient autonomy and understand that active listening is integral in the process of shared decision-making in order to develop a plan that is in line with the goals of my patients.
