I have been a patient at Baptist Medical Group for many years and with 3-4 different Doctors. I have always felt that I have received the most accurate diagnosis and if a referral was necessary, there has never been any hesitance for a referral to get the best treatment or diagnosis. Dr. Carter is the most knowledgable, helpful, caring doctor I have encountered in my 25 years in Florida. He listens to me and helps however and whenever he can. He is sincerely concerned for his patients and his dedication to the hippocratic oath is evident in the way in interacts and treats his patients. It is admirable and deeply appreciated. The Internal Medical Group has always had a friendly and professional office staff. Very organized and never a long wait to be called in. The office itself has had an upscale look to it. Decor in a waiting room can be bare and chilly or warm and comforting. IMG???s waiting room is warm and comforting and always feels very clean. I was sorry to hear there are changes being made. Of all the doctors??? offices I have to visit, IMG???s always makes me feel cared for as a person.

I have been going to IMG for years (originally with Dr. Bagby) --and recently I recommended IMG to two friends who are now new patients. The staff is always friendly , very skilled and competent. The lab is very convenient and always runs on time or early. Dr. Carter is an excellent doctor. He always takes time to answer questions and he is very, very thorough. In all these years I have only had to wait longer than a few minutes--once! Unheard of in today's world. The Baptist portal makes communication for refills or questions very easy and convenient.

Daryl & Patricia are always very welcoming & friendly checking you in. I greatly enjoy watching the various, beautiful fish in the aquarium while waiting in the lobby. The outside entrance of the building has been in desperate need of attention for a couple years now, looks shabby. Surroundings at entrance always gives an impression.

The friendly atmosphere from check-in to check-out. The staff is very knowledgeable and friendly. The doctors are great. Never rush you, they take the time to answer your questions, concerns. They don't make you feel rushed. I have been seeing my doctor for over 30 years now. They have moved offices twice, each time getting further from my home, but I just can't switch doctors!! I love my doctors here!!

They used to be very good and responsive to their patients but this past year the service has declined. Our doctor has gotten the appointment scheduled for my husband mixed up as to what they are for. The office failed to book him a 6 month follow up for his physical which means that will be late because they are hard to fit in if you don???t book them way in advance. I was having irregular heart rhythm a few months ago and called for an appointment by was told there was no one available that could see me. My husband tried to clear up some questions and issues he had with our doctor ( that we have gone to for years) and instead of answering him he got up and walked out- ending his appointment. We have liked our doctor and his care through the years but the last year he seems to be burned out. Doesn???t address all your problems- questions, distant. While I know the last 2 1/2 years have been hell for the medical community and it wasn???t easy before (I was aRN for 40 years) that shouldn???t be the excuse for poor care. You are supposed to be dealing and helping people with their health. We are probably going to change our doctor after probably 20 years of going to him. Good luck.

Dr. David Carter. He administers the most comprehensive history & physical I've ever experienced. For several past decades, I received care in Boston, from Harvard hospitals. It is not that I was disappointed in my visit, and I enjoy my new relationship with Dr. Carter after Dr. Grochmal's retirement. My issue is a reluctance to allow "sick visits" in person. The practice seems to drive patients to virtual visits when someone has any raspatory issue so I would just tell anyone looking for doctor, be aware of this.

I like everything about this office. Dr Carter is an excellent Internist who listens and thoroughly answers my questions. Mary, who did my intake, was also extremely professional and friendly. This office runs on time! I have never in all the years I have been a patient, had to wait over one or two minutes. Ordering refills is a breeze. Making an appointment---someone actually answers the phone! And Gloria is simply the best. The few problems I have had, Gloria resolved quickly... Also can't say enough about the Lab Techs. Again, they run on time. Professional , efficient but extremely friendly as well. Rarely do I even feel the needle prick. Thanks to all that make IMG so outstanding.

1) The ease and friendliness of check in staff. 2) The staff that does the triage so friendly and efficient. 3) The Doctors (mine is Doctor Carter) I so like him! I started with him when I worked Downtown, now that I am retired, I continue to see him, even though I live in Middleburg, a good 45 min to an hour away.. But I just can't imagine going to another internal Medicine doctor!! He has gotten me through a lot of medical issues! A great diagnostician. The entire practice is great!

I like the fact that your front office staff is so friendly. She many times I have left practices because the office staff made the process exhausting. Yours is helpful. The fact that your doctors are great helps too. I deducted one star because it is getting even more difficult to see a doctor other than appointments scheduled well in advance.

The wait time to see the doctor was very long since I was placed in a treatment room he does not use and was not told I was there. When I did get to see the doctor, he apologized for the mix-up and provided Great service— the service by the referral Personnel and the subsequent report of the back Xrays by the doctor were very prompt. Also the recommended course of treatment for back pain was very prompt also.

I was greeted somewhat curt by lab tech. I was running early, about an hour. No one was waiting to be seen when I arrived, About 2:05 PM. I waited about 10 min. when a lady arrived. The lab tech came out to get her when he informed me that I was early. He then asked me to wait outside. I have no problem with waiting outside. It just seemed to me that with two lab tech’s and not many patients to see I could have been worked in. But all went well and I had the Time to spare.
