Joseph M. Mitrick
Hospital President, Baptist Beaches and President, Transitional Care
Joe Mitrick, FACHE, is hospital president of Baptist Medical Center Beaches and president of Transitional Care for Baptist Health, positions he has held since 2011. Previous positions include serving as hospital president of Baptist Medical Center Jacksonville 2005-2011, administrator for Baptist Beaches 1997-2015 and vice president of Professional Services for Baptist/St. Vincent’s from 1995-1997. He earned a bachelor's degree from Kent State University in Kent, Ohio, and a master's degree in health administration from The Ohio State University in Columbus, Ohio.
Mitrick is a fellow in the American College of Healthcare Executives. He is the vice chair of boards for Fleet Landing and Community Hospice of Northeast Florida. He also serves on the board of Taylor Home and the Beaches Division of the JAX Chamber, having served as chairman of the Beaches Division of the JAX Chamber board from 2002-2003 and 2011-2013. He is an Assistant Chairman for First Aid Services at the Players' Championship. He previously served on the boards of the American Cancer Society, American Heart Association, OneJax and Volunteers in Medicine.
