Not that I???m disappointed but I???ve only had one appointment and it was virtual. It also kinda felt all over the place. Mostly, I don???t recommend places likely. No one is going to give me the moon in one appointment. Ask me again in a few months.

Lisa Schmidt was unprofessional. The demeaning tone she used towards me was not warranted. The information that was provided to me was inconsistent and Lisa blamed me. I will never return to Baptist Behavioral. I will cancel all future appointments in this network and look elsewhere. Lisa encouraged me to do so as well. I will not return.

I requested assistance from my team for a request due to my condition and offered to provide additional information for context. That offer was declined and resulted in my care team dismissing my condition as not a disability and further made assumptions that my request was unnecessary based on needed socialization. My medical team will now only be provided information regarding how medication is improving or detracting from my medically documented condition until I find a supportive provider.

I had been sick for years, saw many doctors who completely missed the diagnosis and prescribed medication that made things worse. Dr Lisa Schmidt did a very thorough assessment, and by our 3rd appointment, properly diagnosed me. The medication replaced many others and I am doing better than I have in years. I highly recommend her along with Dr Puttiah in charge of my TMS treatments. The depression lifted, I am able to use logic and reason again, without being overwhelmed with emotions. PHP at Baptist behavioral taught me many things to apply in my life moving forward. I am very grateful and highly recommend Baptist Behavioral and these providers.

Mainly the disappointment was felt when the doctor was almost 30 minutes late. It held off another meeting I had to attend to at work. I feel like this doctor has no concept of schedules and time. On top of that she wouldn't listen to me. I felt like I was being bossed around. I told her 3 times I wanted off the lexapro and I wanted to try another anti-depressant. She said no I do not want you off it now, but we will do it later. Guess what? I am getting off it and on another medicine with my original doctor. I will continue to search for another psychiatrist, but finding quality psychiatrists that will listen to you is beyond hard. It seems that psychiatrists have a very know it all kind of attitude, and a progressive ideology of their opinion has to be yours or that is it they want nothing to do with you. I was trying to leave my original psychiatrist because he is overloaded and cannot pay attention much to my EFMP paperwork for the navy. Also, this doctor I saw through Baptist said she would consider my paperwork later and brushed it off, after I told her I didn't need it right now. She never brought it up again. On top of all of this, I had a nervous breakdown the day before yesterday and had a knife to my arm - so clearly not much she did helped. She didn't listen, she didn't seem to care about time, and she spoke down to me. Not exactly something that works well for a person who is on the edge and their husband is about to go to war for 5 months.

Lisa Schmidt is the most amazing health care provider I have ever met! I was struggling to help my cousin. Ms. Schmidt was the only one who truly listened to me about the decline I observed in my cousin's health. Sadly, my cousin was diagnosed with a very rare and fatal disease. We don't have the final test results back yet - I continue to pray for a miracle. Lisa Schmidt is an Angel!!!!

Informative and healthy conversations and professional options about my mental and physical well being. My doctor provides me with medication prescriptions I need to stay and become healthy. My doctor is concerned about my bloodwork, EKGs, and any and all medical tests necessary for my health. Even though my minimum disability income does not cover the full extent of the maximum constant changing and comprehensive total care and fully suite of ever evolving internal puncture tests and radiation treatment tests provided for every maximum situation and custom suites of tests, my doctor is sure to comprehensively cover every bodily function to test.

Dr. Shmidt is caring and professional. Her demeanor is warm and she is interested in my well being and not just prescribing meds, even though that is a necessary piece of my treatment. I also really appreciate that our provider meetings are carried out via ZOOM, safer for everyone.

The entire appointment was completely focused on changing or deleting medical prescriptions prescribed by previous Baptist Behavioral personnel. No time was spent discussing therapeutic procedures or recommending a therapist desperately needed by me as part of a widely needed treatment plan. Needless to say, the session ended with me being quite upset about what had occurred during my appointment with the lack of a referral for a mental health therapist. Instead of renewing current medications which I felt were working to some degree, I was asked to substitute a current prescription with another drug known to have serious side effects including a number of patients who felt like "zombies" after taking this particular medication and were feeling extremely tired without any perceived beneficial results. I fully understand that a medication can effect patients quite differently but I was very concerned about what potential negative side effects I might experience with this new medication. I am confused about recommending a new prescription without completely understanding my current condition that has gotten worse over many years. Overall, after my appointment, I felt worse than I did when I first arrived which contradicted my expectations of finding non-medicinal alternatives to improve my current condition. My comments above are not intended to create a negative review of the person whom I met with, but rather to provide collected feedback about what I have experienced over the past years. I hope you understand this for what it is and my feelings about not having any significant improvement over many years during which I was prescribed a number of antidepressants that didn't work. They all had one major side effect that resulted in male ED. This alone has contributed to a negative self image and largely erodes self confidence. I feel the mental health system has been relatively poor due to the lack and/or shortage of experienced practitioners. Booking appointments take six months or more to finally being able to sit down with a mental health specialist. I guess I m just venting and I apologize if I have offended anyone.

No one told me it was a zoom meeting So after an hour of driving I get to the center My name wasn???t there , no appt was there. I???m glad the doctor called me???. Had my appt in my car??? Not happy with the mix up of an appt that took 5 months to get and the center didn???t call to remind me, and it was zoom

One improvement would be to listen to and react better to Patients ! When I call in about problems with a new medication and request to speak with the Provider I fully expect to hear back as soon as possible directly, not get a message from an office worker. I recently experienced a very bad reaction from a new medication, which indicated that you should contact the Provider before discontinuing, and was unable to speak with the proper person. I stopped the medication anyway but wanted to discuss the side effects and was unable to do so. Almost had to call 9-1-1.

Provider did not listen, answer questions, or address concerns. She informed me she ???wasn???t interested in that??? when I tried to tell her I had a successful treatment plan in place for years. She insisted on changing medications for no reason. When I attempted to tell her I was uncomfortable with this due to multiple health issues, she cut me off and said ???I don???t care about that???. Because of her refusal to listen to my concerns, I wound up in the ER, where I was potentially exposed to at least 2 people with COVID who came in. With cancer and other medical issues, this is potentially deadly to me. They then claimed they ???didn???t have??? the info for an ombudsman/patient advocate and were supposed to call me right back. I still have not heard anything.

My Dr in particular acts as though she doesn???t care. Too preoccupied with being behind that day. I didn???t have 20 minutes with her because she was rushing me. Her phone went off twice during our session, and it was the front office letting her know that her next patient was going to be late while on my time. There is nothing you can do. We???re just not a good patient/ARPN match so to speak.
