Advanced Practice Providers

Nurse Practitioners (APRNs) and Physician Assistants (PAs) are an important part of the Baptist Health team and help us increase timely access to care.

You'll see these advanced practice providers caring for patients in a variety of medical specialties at doctor's offices, hospitals, outpatient centers and emergency rooms. They have advanced medical education and work closely with physicians to diagnose and treat patients, and even prescribe medication.

Regina Nolting, APRN Biography and Info

Regina Nolting, DNP, APRN, ANP-BC is a certified NP who has practiced at Baptist Health in primary care for 20 years. Her passion is meeting the healthcare needs of our aging population in collaboration with families and other support persons and services/systems. Meeting needs for health promotion, disease prevention and implementing appropriate interventions for acute and chronic health problems requires a multifaceted approach including each geriatric patient’s caregiver and consideration of their beliefs and cultural focus. Regina joined AgeWell at Baptist Health because it strategically connects providers and patients with access to specialists in medicine, psych services, physical/occupational/speech therapies, and a network of social workers to focus on the needs of our aging population. She encourages patients and their caregivers to actively participate in their own health through the appropriate resources. Her areas of expertise include:

  • Adult Health
  • Geriatric Care
  • Dementia
  • Health Education

About Me

Since moving to Jacksonville over 30 years ago, I have enjoyed the beaches and vacationing throughout our state with family and friends.

My philosophy of care is to assist aging adults in achieving the best possible health outcomes by utilizing the resources of Baptist Health and the current standards of care for the prevention and treatment of acute and chronic conditions. It is important to respect each individual with consideration of their caregiver, beliefs and culture.
