Richelle Ricer, DNP, PMHNP, APRN-BC, is a board-certified psychiatric nurse practitioner with over 10 years of experience in psychiatric nursing. Throughout her career, she has gained expertise in both the inpatient and outpatient psychiatry settings, providing comprehensive mental health care to diverse adult populations. Richelle has had the privilege of serving on a consultation/liaison line, where she worked with medically complex patients facing co-occurring mental health conditions. Her approach to care is rooted in providing holistic and compassionate treatment. As a healthcare provider, Richelle's ultimate goal is to empower her patients to achieve lasting mental health improvement through a personalized, patient-centered approach. About Me
I am originally from a small town on the Ohio/West Virginia border. After graduating with my bachelor’s degree, I spent two years working on an adult inpatient psychiatry unit. It was during this time that I developed a deep passion for building meaningful relationships with patients and forming a variety of treatment plans tailored to each individual. My experience inspired me to further my education and complete my Doctorate Degree at the University of Florida.
For the past 8 years, I have lived in the Jacksonville area with my husband and our dog, where we enjoy the warm Florida weather and spending time by the beach. Outside of my professional life, I love to travel, spend time with friends and family, and attend concerts.
My journey in healthcare has been driven by a commitment to helping others, and I take great pride in working closely with my patients to guide them through their mental health journey.
