Bernardo Utset, MD, graduated from the University of Miami School of Medicine and returned to Chicago for his residency and fellowship training. He moved to Florida in 1991. Dr. Utset’s areas of expertise are:

About Me

I am happily married and the proud father of four wonderful children. As a family, we enjoy swimming, soccer, snow skiing, watching movies and indoor board games like Scattegories. We enjoy cooking and spending quality time with our family and friends.

My practice philosophy has not changed during my years practicing cardiology in Jacksonville. First and foremost, treat everyone equally as if they were a close friend or family member. In addition, I always try to balance the benefit versus the risks regarding any treatment that I recommend or any procedure that I attempt. I also try to follow the practice guidelines set by the American College Of Cardiology.

I am an active member of my parish. In addition, I am a strong supporter of our Jaguar's and have been a season ticket holder since their inaugural year.
