Eric Poovey, APRN, AGPCNP, is a certified nurse practitioner with nearly 30 years of nursing experience. His primary focus has been assessment and treatment of cardiovascular disease and arrhythmia management, and he has expertise in both the inpatient and outpatient settings.

About Me
I am a Jacksonville native, born at St. Vincent's Hospital in 1966. I am the proud father of six children and have the additional blessing of a son-in-law and daughter-in-law. I am honored to be married to the most amazing person I've known. We have been married over 25 years, and she makes me a better person every day. Outside of medicine, I enjoy spending time with my wife and children every way that I can and can often be found outside participating in golf, fishing or cycling.
I strive to take care of the whole person when treating my patients. First and foremost, I am an active listener. My focus is on honest, compassionate and informative conversations that help the patient make the best decision for the management of their care.
