Michael Alston, MD, is a fellowship-trained electrophysiologist who treats patients ages 18 and up. He was drawn to electrophysiology by a passion for understanding complex heart rhythms and a desire to help people live healthier lives. After completing his advanced training, he relocated to Jacksonville to join a team of specialists committed to excellent patient care and to serve the local community. He is especially interested in building strong relationships with patients through compassion and clear communication.

About Me

I’m excited to be starting a new chapter in Jacksonville and to enjoy everything the area has to offer, especially life by the beach. In my free time, I enjoy staying active, watching football and basketball, and spending time by the water.

I was drawn to medicine because I love helping people. Electrophysiology was particularly appealing to me because every patient presents a unique challenge that requires thoughtful care. There’s something incredibly rewarding about relieving symptoms that have significantly affected someone’s quality of life. My approach to patient care is both compassionate and evidence-based. I want patients to feel heard, to know they have a true partner in their care, and to trust that I approach every case with discernment and skill.
