Nursing staff and the helpers forget what they title was. They were excellent, !!! very attentive, very polite, very professional, but yet made you feel like one of their own the check out procedure leaves a lot to be desired. I think there was some misinformation are communication among the people responsible for the checkout procedure. All employees are talented, caring, friendly. Worst is ER with no pillows ( but in the patient rooms about 30 are stuffed in a closet!). I???m a heart patient and had to spend the night on a gurney in ER due to no rooms available. Bad for sleeping need pillows at least! Get them from what???s stuffed in closets upstairs.

Very friendly to the patience, kind, caring and understanding. You make them feel special and comfortable about having their procedure without any doubt or concerns. The doctor is always willing to listen and help you feel comfortable about your condition and your situation as you get closer to your surgery and if you need anything questions you can always ask them about anything and they can always give you the information you need. The hospital is always clean.

I went to have Heart Cath test. I reported at 11am as I was supposed to do. The procedure time was 1pm. Finally I was taken in after 3pm. In between no one came to inform me about the delay. I???m 87 yrs old and had been fasting since the previous night.I wish there should be a little more communication between the staff in charge and the patient. It was a long day for me. Only bright light was the nurse who was in charge of taking care of me. The doctor in charge was very good and went and informed my family that the test was successful and the end result. I wish there is more interaction instead of not knowing what and when the procedure will be done.

The nurses are very professional and efficient, but it was concerning that the Dr's weren't able to determine what caused my issue's, and 24hrs after a heart catheterization the dr comes in my room to check on and ask me if I had my heart catheterization,and did they put any stents in. Cause the report wasn't in.

Everyone I interact with is always so friendly and helpful. The Dr's are all the best. When I scheduled my CT Calcium Score test I was told to go to Building 3, 4th floor at Baptist South for my appointment. I sat there for 20 minutes before someone came out and asked me why I was there. When I told them they immediately apologized and sent me down to 1st floor Imaging. They took me right in figuring that I was sent to the wrong place and would be there soon. They didn't have to do that but they did.

Baptist is the best hospital in Jax,in my opinion. I have been twice and both times was impressed with the care. This time I thought it was a heart attack, but proved to be stress related. My heart was examined inside/out and no problems. Personnel from all levels were very friendly and efficient. Best of all I gained 2 new Dr???s Kidney/Heart who impressed me with their concern. I???ve had 3 Dr???s so far and none have done very much for me. I have CK D and am trying to avoid dialysis. Hopefully it will be the case.

The initial check-in was quick and smooth. Having done online registration ahead of time was a big help in speeding up the process. All the staff were knowledgeable and quite efficient. Dr. Gupta is a friendly type and though we didn't spend much time together, he determined which tests are appropriate and set the wheels in motion for the scheduling of them. I now wait to her back from the various departments that will be involved.

I wanted to share my experience from yesterday. Although the doctor was very sweet I didn???t appreciate being told that my EKG came back abnormal and I needed to come back, putting worry in my head, then having my appointment changed 2-3 times by the staff, for me to pay $80 so that the doctor can shake my hand and say ???I???m not worried about the EKG??? I didn???t have another done yesterday, and this simply could have been a phone call or communicated to my OB. It was wasteful and not productive. I thought at least I would have another one done. It just felt like I came in for a hand shake for all the trouble.

Two of my Nurses were unprofessional One placed my IV in a inappropriate place(BP cuff kept knocking it when inflating) it became quite painful and when I request it be moved to a different location she didn???t want to move it!!! another Nurse came in and didn???t want to move it after my procedure until I told her I will remove it myself (IV site was bleeding and painful) eventually the IV was removed and replaced at a different site with no pain after placement
