About Me
Traveling across the world and devoting more than twenty years to medical training were steps in pursuit of something greater than myself. I have learned invaluable lessons from my patients. I believe deeply in their struggle and their fight against a life-changing illness. This work is personal to me. Innovation comes from solving problems that are personal to us.
Together with my team, I am committed to providing wholesome, evidence-based, and most up-to-date care, guided by compassion and respect, as I would for my own mother or myself. This is beautifully said by Dr. William Osler: “The practice of medicine is an art, not a trade; a calling, not a business; a calling in which your heart will be exercised equally with your head.”
Florida has become home since I first arrived as a visiting medical student from Syria. I spent more than a decade in South Florida completing much of my medical training. I cherish its land, air, blue skies, and waters, as well as the genuine friendships I have formed along the way.
Beyond the clinic, my little family and I find solace in nature. Our favorite spots these days are the Jacksonville Zoo, Jacksonville Beach, or one of the many beautiful nearby springs.
