From the Doctor:
My wife and I have two children. Jacksonville is our home town and we are excited to be back and have the opportunity to raise our daughters in this great city. In our free time we enjoy visiting the parks, going, fishing, boating, photography and spending time with friends and relatives.
My philosophy of care is to practice the “golden rule”, that is to treat patients as I would want myself or my family members to be treated. As an oncologist, I enjoy being there for my patients. When someone is given the diagnosis of cancer, there is so much fear and uncertainty. Many of the negative feelings can be relieved by simply understanding the treatment options clearly and in a way that is easy to understand.
Because I feel that cancer risk awareness is important, I have been involved in public service campaigns regarding the risks of excessive sun exposure and the development of malignant melanomas and promoted ways to safely enjoy the outdoors.
