Ramesh Pandey, MD, FACP

Ramesh Pandey, MD, FACP, is a board-certified and fellowship-trained hematologist oncologist specializing in the diagnosis and treatment of thoracic and GI tract cancers. Dr. Pandey’s interest in medicine began in childhood, inspired by watching his aunt and uncle care for patients. Later, his experiences as a Junior Red Cross member deepened his understanding of the importance helping others and personal relationships in caregiving. Drawn to both the science and compassion at the heart of medicine, Dr. Pandey found his true calling in oncology, a field that challenges him with its complex biology and excites him with its ever-evolving scientific advances. He believes in seeing each patient as an individual living with cancer, not just as a diagnosis. His areas of expertise include:

About Me

I love to spend time with my 2 daughters and wife when i get time. I love playing tennis, pickleball, volleyball and also do hiking and road trips. I guess hiking came naturally with the way i grew up in Nepal. Notable hikes have been to Mt Everest up to basecamp, Kalapathhar. Nowadays it has been hard to find time.

Growing up in village of Nepal, working there at remote facility as single doctor for whole village and trained here in united states at centers like MD Anderson and Baylor College of Medicine as well as practicing in both urban and community setting gives me the ability connect with people of multiple backgrounds. I want to think all of us as people first than comes the cancer where i can help them on their journey of life to make it better if possible by any means.
