Great service! Very informative and all of the staff has been patient, caring and pleasant. My team of physicians has made serious and scary diagnosis less stressful. They have taken the time to explain my diagnosis, what to expect and my treatment plan. They have been available to answer all of my questions and concerns.

My surgeon Dr. Pezzi and the team around him 8/1/2022. What I did NOT like this time around (my 6 month follow up appointment) was the phone system. It is very dysfunctional. And the MyBaptistChart system. I left a message for Nancy Phillips several days prior to my appointment and she never received it. Explain that please. Thank you. Nancie Waldron

The doctor found thyroid cancer when performing surgery for my parathyroid issues. He took the initiative to remove the thyroid as well as several lymph nodes where he also found cancer. I am very appreciative of him talking the action he took to remove the cancerous tissue. All of the hospital staff were very accommodating and treated me very good.

From the moment my husband and I walked through the doors of MD Anderson we knew I was in amazing hands. After meeting my Team of incredible Doctors, we both felt a lot better about my cancer diagnosis and we were very informed about my surgery, treatment, diagnostics, and follow up. It isn???t fun to be diagnosed with cancer, but we couldn???t be more thrilled to be working with the Doctors at MD Anderson! My surgery went above and beyond what was expected, and the follow up appointments were nothing short of compassion, positivity, and a genuine caring for my health. I consider myself very lucky the Team found my cancer early and are taking care of me the way I would expect my family to care for me. We are very appreciative! Thank you to All!

They care about the patients. They are a little slow on appts. What I mean is appt may be at 10am you get seen between 10:30 to 11:00. Not all the time and I do realize they are busy. I think it would be nice if someone would just step in the room to let us the patient know they have not been forgotten. Other than that I realy like the place and the people.

What I liked about my care was the relaxed, warmth, and professionalism Dr. Anderson displayed. She did not rush me, but she gave me all the time that I needed. She observed that I was a little anxious and asked if I needed to speak with a Chaplin. You would have thought Chaplin Jeanne Miller-Clark was standing outside of the door of my appointment because the moment it was over, Chaplin Miller-Clark's warmth and caring spirit was there waiting to embrace me. This was my first doctor's appointment AFTER finding out I had been diagnosed with bilateral breast cancer. Ahhhhh!! Thank-you, Dr. Anderson, for your relaxed, warmth, and professionalism because you allowed me to arrive at my two additional appointments not so anxious and unafraid.

Dr. Christopher Pezzi is by far the best surgeon I have ever met. His surgical skills are absolutely top notch! He is very thorough and detail oriented. Before, during and after the surgery, his explanations are clear and can be understood by common people like me. He is very honest, sincere and will not sugar coat the possible complications of any medical procedures. His caring and positive attitude are crucial to patients who are looking to find hope and peace of mind amidst all the uncertainty that they are facing. I highly recommend Dr. Christopher Pezzi and his team. He already helped me twice and if I ever have a problem I will not hesitate to consult with him again! All of his staff are very nice and supportive especially Carmen Raices and Nancy Phillips who always make sure to return my calls and answer all my questions. I appreciate all of you!

Dr Pezzi and his PA Nancy Phillips bent over backwards during A hectic Holiday season to make sure that we received our ???cancer free??? diagnosis on Christmas Eve! They wanted us to have a worry free Christmas! Both ensured during the whole process that we were fully informed about all options and procedures! Such caring people!
