I like the fact that I do not need to wait for lonng periods of time to see a healthcare professional or physician when I have an appointment with them. I like getting a printout of all my future appointments from the Scheduling team. Most of all , I feel that I am in the hands of knowledgeable professionals who know best how to handle my case.

After I got home I read the report and it had some major inacurracies. One, that there was no family history of breast cancer. I even had the test done at your hospital to see if I had the gene. But to correct the information my mother died of breast cancer and so did my fathers grandmother.

Difficult to get answers to questions that arise about appointments - what is involved, where they are and with whom. Patients need to know how to get an answer from the provider. Staff who work directly for a medical professional are usually very good and very knowledgeable. Staff who answer the "generic" number may not be sufficiently knowledgeable to answer the caller's questions. Abbreviations used on the "Itinerary" of appointments should be explained somewhere (maybe a footnote). I have been going there over a period of 2-3 years and only now am I reasonably confident that I can find the location of my appointment at your downtown campus. Your map of, and visitor guide for, the MDA Cancer center is a big step forward for getting around the cancer center. And then there is the hospital ....

Outstanding care in every capacity, from the minute you walk in the door for Covid check into the minute you leave. All of these people are so highly trained in care and compassion. I am absolutely thrilled with Dr. Samiian And all of her staff. They are literally a godsend to me.

I was very nervous - this whole process (breast cancer diagnosis, surgical consultations, surgery, etc) is very stressful, but at every step, I have felt cared for and listened to.
